Sorrowful,yet always rejoicing..

I just saw the email this morning that little Diamond's heart gave out last night. What a hope we have as Christians to know that this little boy is now completely whole and healthy...no more suffering, no more CP, no more tears, no more waiting for a passport to get him to his forever family...he is with his eternal, forever Father. How wonderful that he had a family that considered him as their own...just like Hope Nesue, he will be grieved for because he was loved. Please keep the Barber family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of this little boy.

Patty Anglin(the founder of Acres of Hope), will bury Diamond today in Liberia before she heads home on a flight to the midwest. Sadly, she is not only grieving the loss of this special boy but her own special needs daughter died unexpectedly at home yesterday in the States. Ari was just 15 years old, adopted from India where she was rescued from the streets by Mother Teresa years ago. This little girl had quite a testimony and living faith . If you think of them, please pray for the Anglin family as well. Patty will be making the 30 hour flight home tonight. I can't even imagine the pain of being so far away during such a crisis. Here is a link about Ari, if you are interested.

This quote was sent to me in an email from another friend also sad over these losses and the loss of her own sweet daughter who died in her arms in Liberia. It is very fitting and comforts my soul...

It is not hard for the Lord to turn night into day. He that sends
the clouds can as easily clear the skies. Let us be of good cheer.
It is better farther on. Let us sing Hallelujah by anticipation. --
Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Rejoicing through the tears,
Mama B.
