This was on the AOH board this evening..after seeing a picture of this little guy, my heart has been so heavy for him...
Thank-you all who are praying for Diamond. He survived another night
and is sloooowly responding. Not much but a little. His fever seems to
be down and he is coming out of the drugs that put him under. He
still needs much continued prayer for a miracle and that his body
would be restored with no adverse affects from this serious bought of
illness.
Thank you for continuing to pray. It is so easy to take for granted the sturdiness and health of Mercy and Odesco now that they are here. The reality is that life in Liberia is so difficult for the little ones...many die from totally treatable illnesses because the medication and treatments just are not available there. I read recently that Liberia has the world's highest infant mortality rate.
Please continue to pray....
