Good and Perfect Gifts...Part 2

Above: The Plaiting Princess is at work again...thanks Mrs. L. for being such a good sport!
Above: Our 2 Princesses showing off their manicures at their friend's Princess party~
Above: Odesco and B4 in their matching PJ's...they took turns wearing the mask and 'scaring' each other...what a hoot to watch these 2 in action!!

Well, this technno challenged Mom is having trouble finishing my prior post....so, to save time, I'm just starting a new one! It is a continuation of the previous post, so you may want to start there :)

*Gift #3 arrived in the form of a phone call from the primary person we had contact with at AOH. To my surprise, she was not calling on 'business' but as a fellow adoptive mom (she has 5 adopted from Liberia and 5 biological!!). What a blessing to hear that she is familiar with all we are experiencing . That call was like a cold refreshing drink of life sustaining water to this thirsty mommy!

*Gift #4 : As a family we were able to join our caregroup for our annual Christmas party. M and I went with low expectations and did not anticipate being able to stay the entire nite'. What a pleasant surprise it was to see Odesco and Mercy playing with the other kids, joining in the 'skit in a bag' activity and basically doing quite well in spite of being in unfamiliar territory with unfamiliar people. Being with our friends is always a treat...even more so when we have been a bit out of fellowship during this time of settling in.

So there you have it ~a highlight of a few (there are many more, I'm sure!!) good gifts bestowed upon our family by the Father of lights. God Himself has touched our lives through the kindness of others and my heart overflows with gratitude.
Grateful for His lovingkindess!!
Mama B~

One more picture:)
Here the girlies are wearing the matching outfits given by my Nana the month before she passed away~They probably won't fit next year so if you see my girls in summer clothes in the middle of winter, you'll understand why!
